Submitted by chimuadmin on Mon, 07/01/2019 - 15:11

After breakfast, choose to do the optional visit of Trinidad and Cienfuegos.

Trinidad is a meticulously preserved Spanish colonial city, with its rich architecture, cobblestone streets, palaces and plazas. It is sometimes referred to as the ‘Museum City of Cuba'. Walk through the city streets and attend a local architect’s presentation and visit a scale model of the city. Stop at the Romantic Museum located in the old palace of the Count Brunet with samples of furniture and decorative arts. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue by bus to Cienfuegos, located on the Southern tip of Cuba. Cienfuegos was founded by French settlers and is also known as the Pearl of the South and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2005. Stroll around the city, meet the locals, visit the galleries and enjoy this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire outstanding examples of its architecture representing the new ideas of modernity and urban planning as developed in Latin America from the 19th Century. A special treat will be a concert by the musicians and singers of the Chorus of Cienfuegos, the Best Choir in the Country. Visit the graphic arts workshop.

Re-join the MS Panorama in port and enjoy a farewell dinner onboard. Overnight in port.
