This 16 day voyage takes you from Reykjavic, Iceland to Toronto, Canada, taking in all of the highlights of Greenland and North Eastern Canada along the way.
You will embark in Reykjavik and travel through the narrow Prins Christian Sund passage, which connects the south-east of Greenland to the south-west. You wille be in awe at the sight of jagged mountains, rocky cliffs, waterfalls and the impressive Kujalleq Glacier. You will call at Aappilattoq, a small Inuit village with some one hundred inhabitants, dotted with colourful houses typical of this faraway land before heading towards Canada.
Your first Canadian port will be l’Anse-aux-Meadows, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the northern province of Newfoundland and Labrador before sailing on towards Saint-John’s, the capital of the province.
Next will be a little piece of France located off the coast of Canada, the archipeligo of Saint Pierre and Miquelon. Here you will discover the small houses with coloured facades and its natural harbour and then sailing on towards the St. Lawrence River and the province of Quebec, en route to Quebec City, the capital of Canada’s Beautiful Province. Founded by Samuel de Champlain in 1608. this charming and lively city offers an insight to Canada's French history with a visit of Old Quebcec, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Continue into the Saint Lawrence river, a prodigious waterway home to exceptionally beautiful nature and enter into the waters of Lake Ontario, making your way to the cosmopolitan city of Toronto, where you will disembark.
