Chimu Adventures continues to attract industry talent Sydney
Friday, 30 May 2014 The continued expansion of Australia’s own Latin America and Antarctica specialist has opened the door for highly experienced industry professionals to complement an already experienced team.
New recruit to Chimu Adventures, Jason Dudson, brings with him over 14 years experience in the travel industry, most recently as the area leader for all destinations sold through the Adventure World brand. Having lived in Latin America for over a year and travelled back to Latin America frequently since returning to Australia, Jason comes to Chimu Adventures laden with the intimate knowledge and skills, of both destination and industry, required to work in Chimu’s specialist team, servicing and educating the industry at the high standards Chimu Adventures pride themselves on providing.
“It’s an ever changing industry and we firmly believe excellent service is the only way to survive.” said Greg Carter, co-owner and director of Chimu Adventures. “With pop up wholesalers suddenly turning up and as many closing their doors, it’s hard for travel agents to know who to trust.
“We’re about to celebrate a decade of operation and expansion in what has possibly been the industry’s most difficult decade, dealing with the rapid change in technology coupled with the GFC plus a volatile Aussie dollar, we believe our success through this challenging time rides on the backs of the great staff we hire, which organically results in the excellent service we offer, rendering our clients feeling secure with their bookings.

Having their own offices in strategic locations throughout Peru, Argentina and Brazil overseeing the operations on the ground helps maintain both quality and speed.
