Havana

After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel for a visit to the Morro-Cabañas fortress. This is followed by a walking tour of Old Havana Historic City Centre. Pass by Cathedral Square, the famous bar/restaurant La Bodeguita del Medio and the Plaza de Armas. Walk along Oficios Street up to St Francisco de Asis Square, visit the Rum Museum to learn about the Havana Club rum production process and sample the flavours and then walk along Plaza Vieja and back on Mercaderes Street and see Ambos Mundos Hotel where renowned American writer Ernest Hemingway lived. After lunch at a local restaurant you will hop on a bus for a tour of Modern Havana. See the Museum of the Revolution, the Central Park, Havana’s Grand Theatre, National Capitol and famous Restaurant Floridita, the Malecon seafront, Revolution Square and the University campus. You will then visit the cigar store of Hotel Habana Libre.
