After breakfast you begin your Havana city tour, starting with a visit to Morro-Cabanas’ fortress lookout point located on a cliff at the entrance of Havana’s harbour. Then take a walking tour of Old Havana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit San Francisco de Asis Square and Havana Club Rum Museum to learn the production process with degustation included. The tour continues around Plaza Viejas (Old Square) along Mercaderes Street to Ambos Mundos Hotel, where the famous American writer Ernest Hemingway lived. After visiting Hemingway’s room, enjoy one of his famous cocktails. Walk around the Plaza de Armas (Weapons’ Square) and Cathedral Square. Then visit the famous Hemingway bar, La Bodeguita del Medio. Lunch is included at La Barca Restaurant. A panoramic bus tour takes you along the exterior areas of the Revolution Museum, Central Park, Havana’s Grand Theatre, National Capitol and Hemingway’s bar, La Floridita. View the most popular city avenue, Malecon, which runs along Havana’s northern coast for 7 kilometres. Visit Revolution Square, a site of great historical value. Visit Delirio Habanero lookout point, enjoy an included cocktail and take pictures of Revolution Square (open time: 13:00-17:00). The panoramic tour continues past Havana’s University building. At the end of the tour you return to your hotel.
Later, take a night excursion to Carlos de Las Cabanas fortress to enjoy the cannon ceremony from the 18th century at 21:00 with dinner included at the private restaurant, La Divina Pastora. After dinner you return to your hotel.
