"In the mid 90s, I backpacked South America for three months, mostly by bus - Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru and Chile. I love the fast pace of the cities - they never really seemed to sleep. There was something going on 24 hours a day!"

With a successful career in the travel industry working for Qantas, Flight Centre, and Helloworld Travel, I’m thrilled to now be with Chimu as a Destination Specialist. I’m passionate about all things travel and have visited the Arctic on an expedition cruise and Antarctica on a scenic flight, both with Chimu. In the Arctic, I even took the polar plunge! In South America, completing the four-day Inca trek to Machu Picchu was an experience like no other - I highly encourage everyone to add it to their itinerary.

The Antarctic day flight view from above showed the massive scale, size and magnitude of the area. You can also really understand the feeling of isolation – that was how I felt in the Arctic.

Outside of work, I love spending time with friends and family, especially my two amazing children, and planning holidays. 

I’m excited to share my knowledge and passion for travel with Chimu guests. My advice: 

Be open to everything each country has to offer as they all have their own unique experiences!
